MEET SHANNON MCGOVERN

• 1986  Born in Mission Viejo, CA on May 28.
  
  
• 1990  Becomes big sister to Kelsey. Only wanted a sister and even proposed that if the baby was a boy that his name should be “Take em’ back McGovern”
  
  
• 1995  Family moves to Naperville, IL. Winter represents first experience with seasons.
  
  
• 1995  8 months later! - Couldn’t stand the cold and family moves back to Southern California.
  
  
• 2001  “Starred” in first Hollywood movie as an extra in Seabiscuit.
  
  
• 2002  First trip abroad traveling to Paris, London and Ireland. Love of travel sparked.
  
  
• 2004  GO BUFFS! Move to Colorado for the University of Colorado at Boulder and join Kappa Alpha Theta.
  
  
• 2007  Ciao Firenze! Move to Florence, Italy for a semester abroad living with an Italian family. Fell in love with the Italian culture and traveled all over Europe – from backpacking in Spain to skydiving in Switzerland.
  
  
• 2008  Bye, Bye Boulder…graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and a Business Certificate. Packed up the car and drove 1,019 miles to the Windy City! Began four-month public relations internship at Weber Shandwick.
  
  
• 2009  Internship at Current turns into a full-time position!
