MEET MOLLY STEINKRAUSS

• 1979  Born in Worcester, MA.
  
  
• 1990  Plucked from East coast to Chicago suburb, learns there’s land between the oceans.
  
  
• 1996  Voted high school girl class clown…and best kisser (thanks to best friend coercing entire debate class to vote; begins plotting revenge).
  
  
• 1997  Departs back to east coast to attend Boston College; graduates from business school with a marketing major, along with a philosophy major just for kicks.
  
  
• 2000  Mingles in IR with internship at Sharon Merrill (cold-calling analysts, nope) and advertising with an internship at Hill Holliday (media buying, nope).
  
  
• 2001  Heads back to Chicago, lands internship at Weber Shandwick, begins career in PR covering everything from hot dogs to fried chicken, motorcycles to toilet paper (yeah!).
  
  
• 2003  Cubs make playoffs, finagles best friend into embarrassing celebratory photo that lands on the front page of the Chicago Tribune (double success: first front page placement and revenge achieved).
  
  
• 2004  Spends six months working at the London Weber Shandwick office; doesn’t articulate colleagues’ accent for first two months, works on bank, motor oil and ice cream accounts (yeah!).
  
  
• 2005  Contacts both NASA and the Pope for different fried-chicken work projects, never hears back from either…
  
  
• 2006  Wins Weber Shandwick summer outing rocks-paper-scissors tournament, granted a year’s worth of gloating rights.
  
  
• 2008  Gives the other coast a try and moves to San Francisco; joins the Current team on the Constellation Wine, Glad, Qwest and Shamrock Farms accounts.
